interesting. i got slightly frustrated with this clip. so should colleges be transformed into some sort of vocational training school?

its nothing new to say that almost every university in this country runs like a business. high tuition, unhelpful services - the fact that it is now a social requirement for people (esp in the younger generations) to go to college. but why. college isn't necessary - but somehow 21st century America made it a requirement to be productive members of society. but truth really - we don't really need to retain what we learned but simply acquire the skills we need for life. working under pressure, networking, and being civil and obedient to authority. and its always known that colleges or advanced academics were meant for the rich and upper/middle classes. now the system tries to incorporate the lower/working/poor classes but the system retains certain aspects that were meant for the higher classes. like liberal arts. the whole academics of it. typically people who are well off - enjoy this study while those not in that position seem to focus more on practical or vocational degrees. like information technology, accounting ... etc. im not so sure anymore.

.......... hmmmmmmmm as a student myself... "what do you think" is a good question to ask... but can't exactly say that some of those problems up there weren't caused by me myself XP

though then u do realize how "academic" we've actually become ><;;;
